Low Sulphur Diesel 50ppm
Key Product Specifications
- Density @ 20°c of 820-870 Kg/m3
- Cetane index of 48 minimum
- Sulphur content of 0.05% maximum (50ppm)
We supply bulk Low Sulphur Diesel containing less than 0.005% sulphur, by mass (50ppm). The sulphur content in fuel is a critical factor with significant impact on the environment, human health and engine performance.
Applications
Low sulphur diesel 50ppm is based on advanced technology offering significant benefits over high sulphur diesel to commercial vehicles, heavy mobile and stationary mining equipment, agricultural machinery, diesel power generators and locomotives.
Impact on Engine Performance
- Prolongs engine life and protects engine parts from damage by minimizing the formation of sulfuric acids during combustion.
- Reduces maintenance costs by extending service intervals. With less sulphur induced by low sulphur diesel 50ppm, lubricants with wear and tear protection additives protect the engine even better reducing the frequency of serving and replacing engine parts.
- Improves engine performance. Low sulphur diesel 50 ppm has cleaner and more effective combustion properties than 500 ppm diesel.
- Low sulphur diesel 50 ppm is compatible with Diesel Particulate Filters (DPFs). The use of 50 PPM diesel in vehicles equipped with DPF systems avoids secondary sulphate particulate formation.
Impact of Health and Environment
Usage of Low sulphur diesel 50ppm greatly decreases engine particulate and sulphur dioxide emissions. This is critical for improving air quality. Engine particulate and sulphur dioxide emissions are major contributors to air pollution, acid rain and city smog all of which pose great human health risks if not mitigated.
Gasoline
Key Product Specifications
- Density @15°c of 780 Kg/m3 maximum
- Research Octane number of 91 minimum
- Sulphur content of 0.15% maximum
We supply High Octane Gasoline 93 and 95. Octane rating is a measure of a fuel’s ability to resist compression before ‘knocking’ during combustion. Gasoline contains an oxygenate that prevents ‘knocking’ by adding oxygen to the fuel. This oxygenate is commonly referred to as octane. The higher the octane number, the greater the Gasoline’s resistance to knocking.
Applications
High Octane Gasoline is based on advanced technology offering significant benefits over Low Grade Gasoline to vehicles with high performance engines.
Impact of Health and Environment
Improves engine efficiency allowing cars to run longer distances with the same amount of fuel.
Kerosene
Key Product Specifications
- Density @15°c of 817 Kg/m3 maximum
- Sulphur content of 0.15% maximum
We supply kerosene best suited for industrial use as a solvent in mineral extraction and domestic use for heating, cooking and lighting.
Applications
Low sulphur diesel 50ppm is based on advanced technology offering significant benefits over high sulphur diesel to commercial vehicles, heavy mobile and stationary mining equipment, agricultural machinery, diesel power generators and locomotives.
Impact of Health and Environment
It’s safe use indoors, clean to burn and safe to store. It produces fewer fumes in its paraffin form compared to charcoal and wood thereby lowering the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
Heavy Fuel Oil 180cst
We supply Heavy Fuel Oil 180 cst. Its high energy content and relatively lower cost make it a preferred choice for power plants and industrial boilers.
Key Product Specifications
- Kinematic viscosity @ 500c of 180 cst maximum
- Pour point of 270c maximum
- Sulphur content of 2.3% maximum
- Net calorific value of 41MJ/kg minimum.
